Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 1, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, which can make it easier to use the site and provide functionality such as authentication.
2. How We Use Cookies
Glowo uses only essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of our service. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies for marketing purposes.
3. Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the dashboard to function and cannot be switched off.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| glowo.session_token | Authentication session | 7 days |
| glowo.session_data | Session cache for performance | 5 minutes |
| theme | Preferred color theme | 1 year |
4. Analytics
We use Umami, an open-source, privacy-focused analytics tool, self-hosted on our own EU infrastructure. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. It collects only anonymous, aggregated page-view data (page URL, referrer, browser type, country).
5. Third-Party Cookies
We do not use third-party cookies for advertising or tracking. If you authenticate via an OAuth provider (e.g., GitHub, Google), that provider may set its own cookies during the authentication flow, governed by their respective privacy policies.
6. Managing Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Preferences". However, if you disable essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in to Glowo as authentication requires them.
For more information about cookies and how to manage them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
7. Do Not Track
We do not track users across websites, so we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Our service works the same way regardless of your DNT settings.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
9. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, use our contact pageand select "Privacy".
